7 1889 Jose C. Zulueta was born in Molo, Iloilo. He was a lawyer and senate president in 1953.

8 1890 Claro M. Recto was born in Tiaong, Quezon Province but became a Representative of Batangas Province, Justice of the Supreme Court, and Senator.
8 1960 Birth of Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III, 15th president of the Philippines
9 1837 Fr. Jose Burgos was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. He is one of the three priests known as Gomburza who were executed by the Spaniards.
10 1893 Benigno Ramos was born in Bulacan, Bulacan, founder of the Sakdal Movement in 1930 which advocated reforms and Philippine independence.
11 1861 General Vicente Lukban was born in Labo, Camarines Norte, a revolutionary leader in the Samar-Leyte Islands and former governor of Quezon Province
11 1913 Lucio D. san Pedro was born in Angono, Rizal. He was named National Artist in 1991 for music.
11 2020 The Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) between the Philippines and United States was formally terminated with the Philippines sending a formal notification of termination to the United States.
12 1915 Lamberto Avellana was born in Bontoc, Mt. Province, a film and stage director and national artist
13 1565 Arrival of Miguel Lopez de Legaspi in Cebu.
14 1810 A Royal Decree was passed allowing Philippine representation in the Spanish Cortes.
14 1924 Juan Ponce Enrile was born in Cagayan Province – lawyer, cabinet member, assemblyman, congressman, senate president
14 1931 The Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) was opened in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
14 2019 President Rodrigo Duterte signed Republic Act No. 11201 creating the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).
15 1889 Establishment of the La Solidaridad as the organ of the Propaganda Movement.
15 1895 Birth of Jovita Fuentes in Capiz Province. She was named National Artist in 1976 for music.
16 1945 Americans recaptured Bataan from Japanese Forces.
17 1897 Battle of Zapote Bridge where the forces of Emilio Aguinaldo defeated the Spanish Forces.
18 1902 Vicente Lukban who led the raid in Balangiga, was captured by the Americans in Catubig, Northern Samar.
19 1886 Chief Justice Jose Abad Santos was born in San Fernando City, Pampanga.
20 1942 President Manuel Quezon and several companions left Manila during World War II on board a US Submarine to Mindanao where he boarded an airplane that brought him to Australia and later to the United States.
20 1991 Birth of Hidilyn Diaz, the first Filipino to win a gold medal at the Olympics
20 2019 President Rodrigo Duterte signed Republic Act No 11223 known as the Universal Health Care Law.
21 1853 Birth of famous painter Felix Ressureccion Hidalgo in Binondo, Manila.
22 1986 Juan Ponce Enrile and Fidel V. Ramos bolted from the Marcos Regime signalling the start of the People Power Revolution.
23 1945 American Forces recaptured Manila from the Japanese during World War II.
23 1995 Leyte State College was converted into Leyte Normal University through R.A. 7910.
24 1888 Birth of General Vicente Lim in Calamba, Laguna. He was the first Filipino to graduate from West Point Academy, United States.
25 1986 Corazon C. Aquino was sworn in as president by Chief Justice Claudio Teehankee.
25 2013 President Benigno Aquino III signs Republic Act No. 10368 which provides for the reparation and recognition of victims of human rights violations during the Marcos regime.
26 1970 Marcos administration allowed the peso to float against the dollar.
27 1857 Birth of Pedro A. Paterno in Sta. Cruz, Manila. He became the president of the Malolos Congress.
27 1945 Gen. MacArthur turned over the civilian administration of the Philippines to President Sergio Osmena after the liberation of Manila from the Japanese forces.
27 2019 Construction of the first subway in the Philippine begins.
28 1919 First Philippine Independence Mission, headed by Senate President Manuel L. Quezon, left Manila for Washington, U.S.A.
28 2023 Oil tanker, MT Princess Empress, sank off the municipality of Naujan in Oriental Mindoro, causing a widespread oil spill in the Tablas Strait that has affected the provinces of Antique, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan.
29 1848 Birth of revolutionary Roman Basa, vice president of the Katipunan. He was executed at Luneta by the Spaniards.
