Mukdahan Province Thailand

Mukdahan Province is one of the provinces in the norteastern region (Isan) of Thailand. It is bounded on the north by Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom, on the east by Laos, on the south by Amnat Charoen and Yasothon, and on the west by Roi Et and Kalasin.

Located 645 kilometers northeast of Bangkok, Mukdahan Province has a total land area of 4,339.8 km2 and an estimated population of more than 346,000 in 2015. Topography consists of the Mekong Valley in the east and mountains in the west. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood of the people.
