Google Adsense Payment

What a week it has been for peoplaid.com! After seven months since the first google ad appeared on this site, the first payment from Google Adsense has arrived. It was a small amount of money but I consider it a validation that indeed there is money in blogging. Thanks to God and to all my visitors and followers.

Another reason to celebrate: the number of page hits passed the 500,000 mark yesterday as you can see on the top right corner of this page. Again, thanks be to God and to all my visitors and blogger friends.

On the issue of statistics, this website was created with the greatest number of readers in mind. It is therefore very sad that for the past month, the daily figure was stagnant at around 3,000 page views a day. In fact, for the last few days, page hits tumbled to less that 2,000 a day. For one reason, there were fewer and fewer posts made each day due lack of time.

Due to my new workload, I don’t see any improvement in the coming months but I will not give up. Instead, I will endeavor to update this site as soon as time becomes available. Of course, I will make sure that I also have time to visit my friends’ site.

Although this site is only 9 months old, I have learned a lot and I feel I have more reasons to share whatever lessons I have learned from blogging. This means additional topics to write about.

Till my next post…

  1. So I can earn if views become 3000-5000 per day..? I also have Adsense. But no such earning. My views are very less.. Approx 100..it is too less. How many hours do u spend in blogging?

    • Yes you can earn. Now I only blog for around 2 hours a day. But I did almost 8 hours a day before the month of May.

    • At present only 1 or 2 posts but when I am free for the whole day, I published around 10. I now have a total of 1,200 posts.

      • Ohh, this is the reason you get so high views. I write one post per day, sometimes two posts… I can write more, but don’t have so much time… Anytway, thank you for sharing this post.
