Carlos Yulo is a Filipino athlete and model. He is the first Filipino and the first male Southeast Asian gymnast to win in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships with his bronze medal finish in 2018. He is also the first to win gold medal for the Philippines in 2019 in the same game. Jump to career.

Augus 3, 2021 – Though he was unable to bring home any medal from his participation in the Tokyo Olympics, Carlos Yulo vowed he will never surrender and that he will keep chasing his dream of being an Olympic medalist someday.
August 2, 2021 – Carlos Yulo missed the medal Olympic podium as he placed fourth in the final round of the vault apparatus competition in the 2021 Tokyo Olympic games with a score of 14.716. The gold medal went to Korean SHIN, Jeahwan wit a score of 14.783.
July 24, 2021 – Carlos Yulo delivered a fine performance in the vault apparatus with a score of 14.712 points, enough for a sixth place finish and allowing him to compete in the the final round. However, he failed miserably in his pet event, floor exercise, where he was expected to win gold. He landed in 44th place with a very low score of 13.566.

Caloy started learning gymnastics at the age of seven when his grandfather Rodrigo Frisco brought him and his sister Joriel to the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines. To date, he already accumulated more than 400 medals in gymnastics.
