Phrae Province Thailand

Phrae Province is one of the provinces in the northern region of Thailand. It is bounded on the north by the province of Phayao, on the east by Nan and Uttaradit, on the south by Sukhothai, and on the west by Lampang.

Located 554 kilometers north of Bangkok, Phrae Province has a total land area of 6,539 kmĀ² and an estimated population of more than 454,000 in 2015. Topography is mountainous except for a wide valley at the central part. There is another smaller valley in the western part of the province. Fruit and coffee growing are the main source of livelihood of the people.
