Nan Province Thailand

Nan Province is one of the provinces in the northern region of Thailand. It is bounded on the north and east by Laos, on the south by Uttaradit, and on the west by Phrae and Phayao.

Located 666 kilometers north of Bangkok, Nan Province has a total land area of 11,472.1 km2 and an estimated population of more than 478,000 in 2015. Topography is mostly mountainous except for the river valleys. Although agriculture is main source of livelihood of the people, tourism is gaining importance.
