Showbiz Career
Luis Hontiveros started as a commercial model at the age of 16. In 2008, He auditioned for the GMA reality show Starstruck Season 5 along with Aldren Richards but they did not make it to the final 14.

As a teenager, Luis joined male beauty pageants. In 2016, he became one of the housemates of the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7. Actually, he auditioned for six times in previous editions of the show but for six times he failed. Although he was eliminated early on, the show gave him the passport to become one of the talent of Star Magic, a unit of ABS-CBN Network.

In 2020, he transferred to GMA Artist Center.
