Yala Province: Profile, Tourist Spots

Yala Province is one of the provinces in the southern region of Thailand. It is bounded on the north by Songkhla and Pattani, on the east by Narathiwat, and on the south and west by Malaysia.

Located 1,072 kilometers south of Bangkok, Yala Province is the southernmost province of Thailand. It has a total land area of 4,521.1 km2 and an estimated population of more than 511,000 in 2015. Topography consists of mountains and valleys.
