Saraburi Province Thailand

Saraburi Province is one of the provinces of the central region of Thailand. It is surrounded by the provinces of Lopburi (north), Nakhon Ratchasima (east), Nakhon Nayok and Pathum Thani (south), and Ayutthaya (west).

Located 113 kilometers northeast of Bangkok, Saraburi Province has a total area of 3,577 km2 and an estimated population of more than 633,000 in 2015. Topography consists of mostly lowlands and plateau with some hills and mountains especially in the southeast. Rice farming and fruit growing are the main source of livelihood in the province. Two large cement plants are located in the province in addition to an existing fibre-cement plant.
