Early in his legal career, he honed his litigation skills as an associate lawyer under the legal practitioner and former law dean Antonio Coronel. Over the years, Jurado established a reputation as a trial lawyer handling complex cases across various courts in the country.
Jurado gained significant national prominence as a celebrity lawyer, taking on a number of high-profile cases involving prominent public figures and entertainment personalities. Notably, he served as defense counsel for actor Robin Padilla during his 1993 illegal possession of firearms trial. He was also instrumental in securing the acquittal and exoneration of comedian and former Parañaque City Mayor Joey Marquez in his legal proceedings. Additionally, Jurado has provided legal counsel to other media figures, including actress and TV host Anne Curtis and actor Rommel Padilla.
