Rechie Valdez is a Canadian entrepreneur, banker, television personality, politician and government official. In 2021, she was elected as Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada representing the district of Mississauga—Streetsville in Ontario. In 2023, she was appointed as Minister of Small Business.

Rechie Valdez became a host for Filipino TV show where she shared stories of entrepreneurs and artists. She has also been working with basketball associations to raise funds for children’s charities across Canada.

Rechie Valdez is the first Filipino Canadian woman and the second Canadian of Filipino ancestry, after former Manitoba Liberal MP Rey Pagtakhan, to be elected as a Member of Parliament in Canada.
