In 2012, she was cast in the GMA television series My Beloved starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. Since then, she stayed with the same station as one of its stable actresses. In 2019, she was the lead actress of the afternoon prime time show Dragon Lady.
In January of 2021, Janine moved to ABS-CBN after many years of being a GMA star. Her first performance on the network’s Sunday noontime show “Asap Natin ‘To” garnered more than a million viewers a day after it was released on Facebook and Youtube, according to ABS-CBN.
