Liza Soberano is a Filipino-American actress and model who rose to fame after playing the protagonist Maria Agnes Calay in the television series Forevermore (2014–2015) with actor Enrique Gil.
In May, 2022, Liza Soberano has changed her manager. Her career is now being managed by actor James Reid and his team. Previously, she was managed by Ogie Diaz.
In 2020, Liza was ranked 14th on the TC Candler and the Independent Critics’ list of the world’s most beautiful faces. It was actually her 6th time to be on the list and the first Filipino to be on top in 2017.
On October 23, 2020, ABS-CBN and Star Magic issued a statement in support of Liza Soberano who was red-tagged particularly by AFP Southern Luzon Command chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. after the actress gave a speech in support of women’s rights.
On September 24, 2020, Liza proceeded to the Quezon City Regional Trial Court, accompanied by her lawyer Jun Lim and her manager Ogie Diaz to file charges against one Melissa Olaes, a call center employee, who allegedly made a rape joke about the actress.
