Joseph Lara is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as congressman of the third legislative district of Cagayan Province.
In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for congress under the ruling PDP-Laban Party and defeated Nancy Ting of the National Unity Party (NUP) by a wide margin. He ran for re-election in the May 9, 2022 and won over Mabel Mamba of the Nacionalista Party (NP) and independent candidate Diamond Jugarap.
