Alan Peter Cayetano is a Filipino lawyer and politician. He is currently serving as senator of the Republic of the Philippines. Previously, he was a congressman representing the first legislative district of Taguig and Pateros in Metro Manila. He also served as Speaker of the House of Representatives and Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

On September 2, 2020, Cayetano was selected by the Philippine House of Representatives as the caretaker of the first legislative district of Camarines Sur which was vacated by Marissa Andaya who passed away on July 5, 2020. He was replaced by Congressman Michael John Duavit on October 16, 2020.
