Dwight Eisenhower was an American politician who served as the 34th President of the United States of America for two terms. He was born on this day, October 14 in the year 1890 and passed away in 1969.
Here are some of his words of wisdom to motivate us.

“Never waste a minute thinking about people you don’t like.”
“The search for a scapegoat is the easiest of all hunting expeditions.”
“If you want total security, go to prison. There you’re fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking is freedom.”
“Leadership consists of nothing but taking responsibility for everything that goes wrong and giving your subordinates credit for everything that goes well.”
“You do not lead by hitting people over the head — that’s assault, not leadership.”
“A sense of humor is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done.”
“Pessimism never won any battle.”
“The history of free men is never written by chance but by choice – their choice.”
“An intellectual is a man who takes more words than necessary to tell more than he knows.”
“We seek peace, knowing that peace is the climate of freedom.”
