Lamphun Province Profile and Tourist Spots

Lamphun Province is one of the provinces in the northern region of Thailand. It is bounded on the north and west by Chiang Mai, on the east by Lampang, on the south by Tak Province.

Located 664 kilometers from Bangkok, Lamphun Province has a total area of 4,506 km2 and an estimated population of more than 406,000 in 2015. Topography is mountainous with valleys and plains in the northern part. Ping River runs through the province.
