Jirayu Laongmanee nicknamed as Kao, is a fast rising actor, singer and model in Thailand. He was born on 29 October 1995 in Rayong Province but grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. He studied acting and directing films at Srinakharinwirot University.
Jirayu Laongmanee started his career in the entertainment industry at the age of five. He first acted on TV with his performance in the Channel 7 show Phin Prai. In 2007, he was cast as Young Boonthing in the film King Naresuan and as young Mario Maurer in the movie Love of Siam. He has since appeared in many television programs and movies and also conducted concerts not only in Thailand but also overseas especially in Indonesia where he has gained lots of followers.
In 2011, Jirayu conducted his first concert entitled Suckseed at the SF World Cinema Central World. It was followed by another concert that same year at the Impact Arena in Nonthaburi. He has recorded the songs Toom Yhu Nai Jai (Deep in my heart) and Wina Tee Diao Taonan (วินาทีเดียว เท่านั้น) meaning Just a Second.
Kao Jirayu wond several awards including Best Actor for his performance in the films SuckSeed (2011), Seven Something (2012), and Chiang Khan Story (2014). He also brought home Best Supporting Actor for his role in Last Summer (2013) and in Phobia 2 (2009).
