Kice played in a band in 2016. Later, he became one of the talents of MKF Production Talents & Events Management Inc.
On July 2, 2022, Kice auditioned at Idol Philippines where he sang Nasa Iyo Na ang Lahat by Daniel Padilla. All the four judges namely Gary Valenciano, Moira de la Torre, Regine Velasquez, and Chito Miranda gave their approval for him to go to the next round. Eventually, he was declared second runner up with Khimo Gumatay as the champion.
