Irene Montilla is a Filipino politician. She is currently serving as mayor of Isabela, a municipality of Negros Occidental Province in Western Visayas Region, Philippines.
In the May 13, 2019 election, Ms. Irene Montilla ran under the banner of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) and won over incumbent Mayor Joselito Malabor of the National Unity Party (NUP) by 48 votes. The latter then filed an election protest and after recount, the margin went down to 22 and the case was dismissed by La Carlota Regional Trial Court Branch 74 Judge Mila Yap Camiso who upheld the election results.
