Eugenio Jose Lacson is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as the governor of Negros Occidental Province in Western Visayas Region, Philippines.
In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for governor under the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) and defeated a virtually unknown candidate Rolando Parpa. He ran for re-election in the May 9, 2022 elections and won over Juan Orola Jr. of PDDS and independent candidate Maria Socorro Sibulan.
