Henry Oaminal is a Filipino lawyer and politician. He is the currently serving as governor of Misamis Occidental Province in Northern Mindanao Region, Philippines. Previously, he was the congressman of the second legislative district.
In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for congress under the Nacionalista Party (NP) and resoundingly defeated Herminia Ramiro of the National Unity Party (NUP). He ran for governor under the banner of NP in the May 9, 2022 elections and won over incumbent Philip Tan of LDP and independent candidate Bibiano Salvanera.
On December 29, 2020, President Rodrigo Duterte accused Congressman Oaminal of corruption although he added that there is no evidence yet. Congressman Oaminal denied the accusation.
