Showbiz Career
At 7 years old, Ian joined the ABS-CBN’s singing competition The Voice Kids Philippines Season 3 where he sang Gary Valenciano’s ‘Wag Ka Nang Umiyak. All three four judges (Lea Salonga, Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta) turned but he chose Sharon Cuneta to be his coach. Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the Sing-Off round. Eventually, Joshua Oliveros of Lea Salonga team was proclaimed winner.

In 2019, he returned to audition for the same show singing JK Labajo’s Buwan. Again, all three judges turned but this time, he chose Lea Salonga as his coach. He was eliminated in the sing-off round.
