Jim Hataman Salliman is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as governor of Basilan Province in Muslim Mindanao Region, Philippines.
Running as a reelectionist under the ruling PDP-Laban Party in the May 13, 2019 election, he defeated Alfiya Fernandez of Lakas Party and two other candidates. He ran again in the May 9, 2022 elections for his third term and won over Alfiya Akbar of Lakas-CMD and two other candidates.

Scandal and Controversies
In 2007, Jim Hataman ran for congressman against Wahib Akbar and lost. In November of that same year, Akbar was killed, along with three other people, in a bombing incident at the House of Representatives in Quezon City. Some witnesses, including captured suspect and former Tuburan town mayor Hajuron Jamiri, pointed to Mujiv and Jim Hataman as being the masterminds but they later retracted.
