Jim Hataman Salliman is a Filipino politician. He is the current governor of Basilan Province in Muslim Mindanao Region. Running as a reelectionist under the ruling PDP-Laban Party in the May 13, 2019 election, he defeated Alfiya Fernandez of Lakas Party and two other candidates.

Scandal and Controversies
In 2007, Jim Hataman ran for congressman against Wahib Akbar and lost. In November of that same year, Akbar was killed, along with three other people, in a bombing incident at the House of Representatives in Quezon City. Some witnesses, including captured suspect and former Tuburan town mayor Hajuron Jamiri, pointed to Mujiv and Jim Hataman as being the masterminds but they later retracted.
