Showbiz Career
Maine began her career in showbiz in 2015 when she became part of a segment called Kalyeserye (Street Series) of the popular noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! aired on GMA 7. In just a few episodes, her partnership with co-host Alden Richards created a huge following. Their love team called AlDub, derived from a portmanteau of Alden’s name and Maine’s character as as dubsmash, became a household name.
