Nonthaburi Profile and Tourist Spots

Nonthaburi Province is one of the provinces in the central region of Thailand. Located just north of the capital, it is considered part of Metropolitan Bangkok. The province is bounded on the north by Ayutthaya, on the east by Pathum Thani, on the south by Bangkok, and on the west by Nakhon Pathom. Although the southeastern part is highly urbanized, the northwestern section is still rural and agricultural.

Nonthaburi Province has a total land area of 622.3 km2 and has an estimated population of more than 1.2 million in 2015. Topography is lowland drained by the mighty Chao Praya River.
