Uthai Thani Province is one of the provinces in the central region of Thailand. It is bounded on the north by Nakhon Sawan, on the east by Chainat, on the south by Suphan Buri and Kanchanaburi, and on the west by the province of Tak.
Located 226 kilometers from Bangkok, Uthai Thani Province has a total land area of 6,730.2 km2 and an estimated population of more than 330,000 in 2015. Topography consists of flat lands in the east and mountains in the west. Rice farming, tapioca, and fruit growing are the main sources of livelihood for the people but tourism is fast becoming an important industry.
