Trat Province Thailand

Trat Province is a province in the eastern region of Thailand. It is bounded in the northwest by Chanthaburi, in the east by Cambodia, and in the south by the Gulf of Thailand.

The province is located 319 kilometers from Bangkok. It has a total land area of 2,819 km² and an estimated population of more than 229,000 in 2015. Topography consists of mountains and hills but there is a narrow coastal plain near the Gulf of Thailand. Industries include farming, mining, and tourism.
