3 Joanna, the wife of Herod’s steward Chuza, Susanna, and many others who provided for them out of their resources.

Theme: WOMAN — A Witness of Grace

In this Gospel reading, we see Jesus traveling from town to town, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom. But something beautiful happens around Him. Alongside the apostles were women who had experienced His healing and transformation. They followed Jesus, served Him, and supported His mission with what they had.

These women were not merely spectators. They became witnesses. And this is the message for us today: God does not waste our experiences. He can turn our wounds into testimonies, our struggles into strength, and our blessings into instruments of service.

Let us remember the word WOMAN.

W — WITNESS
A woman who has encountered God’s goodness cannot remain silent forever. Her life itself becomes a testimony. She may not stand on a stage. She may not preach with a microphone. But her kindness, faithfulness, courage, and perseverance can preach louder than words.

O — OPENNESS
These women opened their hearts to Jesus. They allowed Him to enter places where pain, shame, fear, and disappointment had lived. Sometimes, the greatest miracle is not changing our circumstances but allowing God to change what is inside us.

M — MISSION
The women followed Jesus because they understood that healing is not the end of the journey but the beginning of a mission. God blesses us not merely so that we can say, “I have been blessed.” He blesses us so we can become a blessing to others.

Your home can become a mission field. Your workplace can become a mission field. Your community can become a mission field. Even your ordinary conversations can become opportunities to bring hope.

A — APPRECIATION
The women supported Jesus and His ministry with what they had. Notice that God did not ask them to give what they did not possess. They simply offered what was available to them.

Maybe you have time. Give your time.
Maybe you have talent. Give your talent.
Maybe you have resources. Share them.
Maybe all you have today is a listening ear and a compassionate heart. Give that.

God can multiply a sincere offering.

N — NEVER GIVE UP
These women continued walking with Jesus. Their faith teaches us that following God is not only about celebrating miracles. It is also about remaining faithful when the road becomes difficult.

There will be moments when prayers seem unanswered, when people disappoint us, when our strength becomes weak. But don’t quit. The God who carried you through yesterday can carry you through today.

WOMAN — WITNESS, OPENNESS, MISSION, APPRECIATION, NEVER GIVE UP.

And perhaps this is what Jesus wants to tell every person today:
Your past does not disqualify you.
Your wounds do not make you useless.
Your age does not make you irrelevant.
Your ordinary life does not make your contribution insignificant.

If God has touched your life, you have a story to tell.
If God has blessed you, you have something to give.
If God has carried you, you have a testimony to share.
And if God is still working in you, keep walking with Him.

Because sometimes the greatest sermon is not what we say.
It is the life we live after God has touched us.
