Gina Miles was raised by a single-father who worked as a disk jockey. At an early age, she developed interest in music while helping her father prepare equipment for his job. Later, she moved to California to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.
Singing Career
In 2022, Gina Miles released her solo EP Who Are You with five songs.
On March 20, 2023, Gina Miles appeared on stage to audition for The Voice, an American reality show where she sang “The One That Got Away” by Katy Perry. Only Judges Kelly Clarkson and Niall Horan turned for her and she picked Niall Horan as her coached. During the finals, she gave a heartfelt performance of Sinéad O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U”. Eventually, she was declared the winner with the slimmest margin against first runner-up Grace West. She won a prize of US$100,000 cash and a recording contract with Republic Records, a label owned by Universal Music Group.

Life after The Voice
On June 30, 2023, Gina Miles performed the national anthem at the special graduation ceremony of Sacramento-based firefighters. Miles served as an opening act to Jewel’s concert at The Venue at Thunder Valley, on September 16, 2023. On July 6, 2023, Miles teased her upcoming song, “Someone New”, via Instagram.
