Rabiya Mateo is the girlfriend of actor Jeric Gonzales. Previously, she was the girlfriend of Neil Salvacion for six years. On June 5, 2021, Neil Salvacion wrote in his instagram account that their relationship was over.

Right after the Miss Universe pageant in Florida, USA, Rabiya was seen in photos with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Andre Brouillette. Almost immediately, Rabiya and Neil unfollowed each other on instagram which prompted netizens to speculate a break-up. Later, Andre issued a statement denying any romance between them.

Pageant Career
Rabiya Mateo was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2020 representing the city of Iloilo in Western Visayas. The pageant was held at the Cordillera Convention Hall in Baguio City on October 25, 2020.

Aside from the Miss Universe crown, Rabiya Mateo was also given the Best in Swimsuit award. However, many observers believed that her performance in the Q and A portion was the main reason for her triumph.

On December 4, 2020, Miss Universe Philippines announced that Rabiya Mateo was given the official title “Ambassador for Education”.

In 2021, Rabiya Mateo represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant and finished as a Top 21 semifinalist.
