History of Glan
Glan was settled by the B’laan and Menuvu Ubo ethnic groups long before the coming of the Spaniards who colonized the Philippines for more than three hundred years. The Spaniards left many heritage houses or structures in the locality.
Economy of Glan
The local economy of Glan is based on farming, fishing and tourism. Rice, corn, coconut and fish are the primary products. Many resorts and restaurants mushroomed along the seashores and beaches.
