History of Hermosa
In 1756, Hermosa became a missionary center with Saint Peter de Verona as its patron saint. In 1852, it became a town.
Economy of Hermosa
Hermosa is an agricultural town where rice and fish are the main products. Manufacturing and trading however, are fast becoming an important pillar of the local economy. The Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park is home to several factories.
