History of Alfonso Lista

The town of Alfonso Lista was created in 1955 out of several barrios of Mayoyao. It was formerly called Potia but it was renamed to honor the legacies of its first mayor.

Economy of Alfonso Lista

Alfonso Lista is primarily an agricultural town where corn is the chief product. Other farmers plant rice, engage in poultry and egg business, or raise hogs and cattle. Some of those who live near the Magat dam own a fish farm where they raise carp fish.
