Nur-Hafeiza Jannah Imam Abinal is the first ever summa cum laude graduate of Accountancy at the Mindanao State University – main campus in Marawi City in Lanao del Sur. However, she is only the second in the history of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy to graduate with such Latin honors.

With a cumulative general point average (CGPA) of 1.1, she was hailed as the class valedictorian. Moreover, she received nine other awards namely: College Academic Excellence, College Service, College Quizzer, College Artist, College Performer, Department Service, Department Excellence, Department Quizzer, and Department Performer Award.

Ms. Abinal is one of the beneficiaries of the on-the-job training scholarship project of Angat Buhay in partnership with Ernst and Young. Angat Buhay is the flagship anti-poverty program of Vice President Leni Robredo.

Ms. Abinal is the daughter of Marantao municipal assessor Jasmine Alip Imam.
