Christelle Abello Evening Gown for 2021 Miss Universe Philippines

Interesting post and thank you for sharing it. I just wonder what beauty queens like Christelle Abello will do when they age, when they put up a bit more weight, when wrinkles in their skins appear, etc. Still, I understand how fascinating the physical beauty of young women is (also of young men). Lana Del Rey sings “Will you still love me when I am no longer beautiful?”, and “Will you still love me when I shine from words but not from beauty”. And I wonder about the natural beauty a person possesses, always, independently from age, a kind of beauty that emanates from the inner soul, from people’s intellectual side and from their good heartedness.
Some of them live meaningful lives by involving themselves in charity works. Others continue as celebrities even in their senior years. Still others marry wealthy men and become socialites. The rest fade into oblivion.
If I did match the beauty standards imposed (which I don’t), I would probably be among the first group.
ha ha Me think we don’t have to meet any standard. Let’s define our own standard and yes, true happiness is found doing something for others. When we do that, we are more beautiful than any standard these pageants impose. Have a nice day.
Agreed. You too have a lovely day.
Thanks for your visit and comment.
You are welcome.
