In 2019, he auditioned for ABS-CBN singing competition Idol Philippines and all four judges namely Vice Ganda, Regine Velasquez, James Reid and Moira dela Torre, gave their approval. However, he was eliminated in next round. Eventually, the contest was won by Zephanie Dimaranan.
