The Ancient City, called Mueang Boran among the locals, is one of the most visited tourist spots in the province of Samut Prakan in Thailand.
Built by millionaire and patron of culture Lek Viriyaphant, the Ancient City is considered the world’s largest outdoor museum covering a little less than a square kilometer of land area and featuring replicas of all the important temples, palaces, monuments, gardens,and other aspects of life in ancient Siam. Visiting this place is really like visiting the whole of Thailand in a day.

The area is shaped like the map of Thailand and you may need to rent a vehicle to take a look at the whole museum.

How to go there
Ancient City is conveniently located on Sukhumvit Road in the sub-district of Bangpu, Samut Prakan. It is a little over an hour by car from Bangkok. The site is near Miami Bayside and Samut Prakan Technical College.
