Sara Duterte is a Filipino lawyer and politician. She is currently serving as vice president of the Philippines. Previously, she served as mayor of Davao City, the premier city in the whole island of Mindanao.

February 5, 2025 – Vice President Sara Duterte was impeached by the House of Representatives, the first vice president to be impeached. The articles of impeachment was signed by 215 members, more than the constitutional requirement of 1/3 of the members of the lower house. She was charged of culpable violation of the Constitution, betrayal of public trust, Graft and corruption, and Other high crimes.
June 19, 2024 – Sara Duterte resigned as Education Secretary.
May 9, 2022 – Sara Duterte bagged the vice presidency by defeating nine other candidates including Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan who placed second. She got 32,208,417 votes or 61.53% while Kiko Pangilinan got 9,329,207 or 17.82%.
