Edgar Labella Biography

Edgar Labella was a Filipino lawyer and politician. He served as councilor, vice mayor and mayor of Cebu City in the island province of Cebu.

Running under the ruling PDP-Laban Party in the May 13, 2019 elections, he defeated long-time mayor Tomas Osmena of Laban Ng Demokratikong Pilipino. He got 265,738 versus 246,813 of Tomas Osmena.

On November 18, 2021, he passed away due to septic shock secondary to pneumonia.
