In the May 13, 2019 election, she ran under the banner of local Serbisyo Sa Bayan Party (SB) and defeated former Congressman Bingbong Crisologo of PDP-Laban, Ismael Mathay of katipunan ng Demokratikong Pilipino and independent candidate Wilhelmina Orozco.
