Eric Go Yap is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as congressman of the lone legislative district of Benguet Province in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Philippines. Previously, he was one of three representatives who won as nominees of the Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Partylist in the May 13, 2019 election. The other two are Jocelyn Pua-Tulfo and Rowena NiƱa Taduran.
In the May 9, 2022 elections, Eric Yap ran for congressman under the United Benguet Party (UBP) and defeated Victorio Palangdan of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) and independent candidates Sammy Paran and Atty. Thorrson Keith.

Eric Yap is a staunch supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte. On January 20, 2020, he was appointed as caretaker of Benguet Province in place of elected Nestor Fongwan who passed away on December 18, 2019.
On March 25, 2020 , Representative Yap revealed he tested positive of coronavirus. In a statement, he claimed he got himself tested for COVID-19 on March 15 after meeting people who may have been positive for the disease. Two days later, on March 27, The Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) issued another statement claiming that Congressman Yap remains negative of the virus and that the institute committed a “clerical oversight”. on December 28,2020, President Rodrigo Duterte included Congressman Eric Go Yap as one of the corrupt officials being investigated although the former also added that there is no hard evidence yet.
