Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla is a Filipino lawyer, politician and government official. He is currently serving as secretary of the Department of Justice (DoJ). Previously, he was the congressman representing the seventh legislative district of Cavite Province. In the May 9, 2022 elections, he ran for reelection for congressman unopposed.

In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for congressman under the Nacionalista Party (NP) and defeated Hermogenes Arayata III of Aksyon Demokratiko Party.

Controversies
On July 1, 2020, Congressman Boying Remulla was caught writing notes during the singing of the National Anthem and the video went viral with netizens pointing out that his behaviour was against the law. Afterwards, he issued an apology and blamed the ABS-CBN people for playing up the issue.

Representative Remulla is one of the congressmen who had been grilling the ABS-CBN people during the hearings for the giant media’s application for a franchise.
