Alexander “Ayec” Pimentel is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as governor of Surigao Del Sur Province in Caraga Region.

In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for governor under the administration-backed PDP-Laban Party and easily defeated Jose Dumagan Jr. of the Philippine Federal Party (PFP) and three independent candidates. He ran for re-election in 2022 and won over Carla Pichay of Lakas-CMD and Johhny Pimentel of PDSP.
