Alexander “Ayec” Pimentel is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as congressman of the first legislative district of Surigao Del Sur Province in Caraga Region, Philippines.

In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for governor under the administration-backed PDP-Laban Party and easily defeated Jose Dumagan Jr. of the Philippine Federal Party (PFP) and three independent candidates. He ran for re-election in 2022 and won over Carla Pichay of Lakas-CMD and Johhny Pimentel of PDSP.
