Lawrence Fortun is a Filipino Lawyer and politician. He is currently serving as vice mayor of Butuan City in Agusan Del Norte Province, Caraga Region, Philippines. Previously, he was the congressman of the first legislative district of the province.
Running under the Nacionalista Party in the May 13, 2019 election, he defeated Samuel Allan Amante of the ruling PDP-Laban Party.
The first legislative district of Agusan del Norte is composed of the highly urbanized city of Butuan and the municipality of Las Nieves.
