Synopsis
The movie tells the story of Carding and Luisa as husband and wife. They sought refuge in the United States from oppositions to their marriage. Now they returned to the Philippines in the hope of helping Carding’s mother recover from stroke which she suffered due to extreme pressure from protesters to the mining company that she, as mayor, has allowed to operate. Carding is now in a bind whether to be at her mother’s side or to be with his daughter and wife whose brother is the leader of the protesters.
