Life Before Showbiz
Although born in the province of Camiguin, Maymay grew up in Cagayan De oro City under the care of his grandparents. Her father passed away when she was still a baby and her mother went to work in Japan as a caregiver. At the age of 14, Maymay auditioned but failed to be admitted in several reality shows including Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010, Pinoy Big Brother: 737, The Voice and Pilipinas Got Talent.
Showbiz Career
In 2016, Maymay was accepted as one of the housemates of ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother – The Lucky 7 special edition. On the final day of the show in 2017, she was proclaimed the big winner with Kisses Delavin as runner up, Yong Muhajil as 3rd and Edward Barber as fourth. That same year, she guested in several talk shows and appeared as an actress in ABS-CBN’s drama series.
In 2022, Maymay Entrata was taken as one of the mentors in Dream Maker: The Search for the Next Global Pop Group.
