Showbiz Career
Ruru Madrid started his career in the entertainment industry after he joined and became a runner-up in the GMA reality show Protege in 2012. He was the protege of Philip Salvador. That same year, he was given his first television program via Party Pilipinas and his first acting role in Paroa: Ang Kuwento ni Mariposa. Meanwhile, his first movie project was My Lady Boss released in 2013 and topbilled by Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez.
