Migo Adecer of GMA 7 was arrested in Makati on Tuesday, March 26 after his car hit a motorcycle with two passengers and tried to speed away. He is now facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting to physical injuries, damage to public property, and disobedience to person in authority.

According to a report by ABS-CBN, Migo tried to evade the police but his vehicle was cornered. Two Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) employees were injured in the process. After spending the night at the police station in Makati, he is set to undergo inquest proceedings today, March 27.

Police Colonel Rogelio Simon claimed Adecer was drunk at the time of the incident. The latter will also be investigated for showing a different driver’s license.

Meanwhile, the victims, identified as Rogelio Formelos Castillano and Michelle Gallova Papin were taken to the hospital but has been discharged.

Migo’s lawyer Maggie Abraham said the actor is not aware of hitting the motorcycle but he is willing to shoulder the victims’ hospital expenses.
